About Creative Life Church Creative Life Church is an independent New Thought Church.
The Church began by being chartered with the Divine Science Federation International in 1982. Revs. Andy & Mesilla Kress led the church from 1983-2007. When Andy Kress was vice president of the Federation for two years, changes in the movement prompted our Church’s independence. Now our affiliation is with the International New Thought Alliance - a world-wide umbrella organization of New Thought ministries that includes Religious Science, Unity, Divine Science, Religious Thought and other independent groups. We use the New Thought Alliance as a synonym for growth, development and perpetual progress with the ideal of a limitless and eternal search for Truth through worship of the omnipresent God, the in-dwelling God in whom we live, move & have our being.
The basic tenet of Creative Life Church is not a dogma or theory -- it is KNOWLEDGE of God on a personal basis. Our Statement of Being contains the teaching in its entirety, and it’s application is a way of life:
God is ALL-- One Presence, One Mind, One Power. This One that is ALL is Perfect Love. We are One with God and One with this Perfect Love.
We bless all loving teachings and works that are life-affirming and creative. We are a healing teaching, that when applied, works in our lives. We gather in LOVE, not fear. We interpret the Bible and all other religious literature as an inspired human effort, that must be understood spiritually and utilized in affirmative life-supporting ways. This ministry has helped many people heal, and we will continue to do so through the love, support and participation of its many members and friends. |

Directions to the Church Take Central (Hwy 7) to the light at Trivista, just north of the race track. Bear right on Trivista, then turn right on Talisman. Turn left on Hollywood. At the 4th street, turn right on Bayard. We’re up about a block on the left at 229 Bayard. From Malvern Ave turn west on Hollywood at the NPMC (National Park Medical Center) Hospital. Cross Shady Grove Road then turn left on Bayard to 229 Bayard. |

Cathy Bolton ,from Michigan is a Singer/Songwriter/International Recording Artist. For the past 20 years she has traveled around the U.S. , and Canada, has been to Australia, The Netherlands and Germany, delivering her gift of music. With 8 albums to her credit, 4 of her Inspirational selections were featured on 2 WINDHAM HILL ALBUMS, along with pieces by Yanni, George Winston, and Jim Brickman. A selection on her ANGELS and EAGLES albums features a poem that was written by her dear friend, the late, great Dennis Weaver, to which Cathy put to music, and added a verse. The song is titled DREAM YOUR EAGLE. It is currently receiving radio airplay and was considered for the 51st annual Grammy Awards nomination. As Music Director for The Conversations with God Spiritual Retreats, she has delivered her Music Ministry for the past 15 years, co-facilitating with author, Neale Donald Walsch, Cathy has also worked with authors Alan Cohen, Joan Borysenko, Debbie Ford, James Twyman, Echo Bodine, Lisette Larkins, and the creator of Spiritual Cinema Circle, Steven Simon. A dear friend of Cathy’s, the late, great Dennis Weaver, actor and author, said about her music, “Cathy’s music speaks to your heart and sings to your soul.” Friend and author, Neale Donald Walsch says about her, “: “The joy, the love, the gentle wisdom, and the deep insight that Cathy and her music bring to the space produces the miracle called Healing. There is no “thank you” large enough to embrace the enormity of that gift. I’m always humbled and inspired by her.
Offertory Prayer of Sharing Receiving God’s gifts, with gratitude we share, putting into action the law of sharing & receiving. When we give freely, we are blessed. We use it wisely, constructively and creatively. We are grateful for our good and for the limitless riches of our mind.
